The department of computer science was established at St.Antonys College, peruvanthanam in the year 2013.The department offers a three year undergraduate program BCA(Bachelor of computer application). The department is blessed with well experienced faculty and highly motivated students and has an impressive placement records. The department maintains a strong relationship with industry partners and our students are placed in various IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc.
The Department firmly believes that theoretical knowledge supported by ample in-depth practical exposure is required to meet the challenges of this ever changing field.

BCA is a three year undergraduate degree programme for the candidates wishing to delve into the world of Computer languages. This course gives you an insight into the world of computers and its applications. Students are given opportunity to explore the conceptual underpinnings of Computer Applications like fundamental algorithms, programming languages, operating systems, microprocessors, Database management systems etc.
With the opening up of vast number of career options that stand in front of the students, computer applications is an attractive career choice for the students. This program prepares students for careers in government, corporate sector, and research and development organizations.
