The Bachelor of Science in Cyber Forensic is a three-year programme designed to train IT professionals in information/network security and forensic analysis of compromised systems, as well as documenting cyber forensic evidence for use in courts of law.

Cyber Forensic is the process of extracting information and data from computers while investigating a cybercrime. Forensic experts examine digital information in order to locate, preserve, retrieve, and present facts and results. Those who complete this degree will be able to make a significant contribution to computer forensics and information security.

This innovative programme is designed to create graduates specialized in Cyber Forensic having expertised, technical and legal knowledge. IT professionals involved in this career need an understanding of information security and network security measures, intrusion prevention and detection, and forensic analysis of compromised systems. Eligibility:

• The eligibility for admission to BSc Cyber Forensic Degree under Mahatma Gandhi University is a pass in plus two with an aggregate of 55% marks for any three of five subjects viz, physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Computer science and Mathematics as compulsory subject with 50% of marks separately.

Objective of course:

• To study and understand the fundamentals of cyber forensic
• To create awareness among the public about the danger of cyber attacks and how to be vigilant and to defeat the attempts of cyber attacks/threats.

Under this scheme the college aims at imparting crucial job skills to the students through various certificate programmes, thus enabling them to acquire anadditional certificate along with their Degree certificates.
